New Service Options
Previously, only limited service options were available for Australians wishing to travel to Thailand for treatment at Thamkrabok.

Now, after extensive research, TKBF offers several service options that will appeal to a wider range of people throughout the world wishing to use the detoxification services provided at the Monastery.

WorldWide Services:
Escort and treatment only
After making your own way to Bangkok Airport, you will be greeted by Thamkrabok representatives and escorted directly to the Monastery, and then returned to the Airport following your stay.
Cost: - from $US 600 includes treatment and transfers to and from Bangkok Airport. Simply advise us of your airline, arrival time and flight number and you will be greeted by Thamkrabok representatives.

Australian Services:
Option #1 - Fully Escorted

The client will be flown to Thailand in the company of a Thamkrabok escort, greeted at Bangkok Airport and transferred direct to the Monastery for treatment.
Following treatment, the client will be returned to the airport for the return flight home, again accompanied by a Thamkrabok representative.
Cost: - from $A3,740 (inl GST) includes return airfares, insurance, transfers and treatment, ex Perth. Additional costs may apply for other Australian capital cities.

Option #2 - Partial Escort
The client will be flown to Bangkok without escort, where they will be greeted by Thamkrabok representatives and escorted to the Monastery for treatment. Following treatment the client will be escorted back to Bangkok Airport for the return flight home.
Cost: - from $A2,145 (incl GST) includes facilitation services, return airfares, insurance, transfers and treatment, ex Perth. Additional costs may apply to other Australian capital cities.


Warning:
It should be remembered that an addicted person seeking to travel alone to Thamkrabok Monastery may place themselves at peril, as Thailand is a country where drugs are easily available and where the legal penalties for possession of heroin can be death or long term imprisonment. HIV and Hepatitis are also major concerns for intravenous drug users.
